Clamp-on Ultrasonic Flow Meter

Ultrasonic flowmeter clamped to the pipe on both sides of the sensor for measurement, installation without cutting the pipeline or interrupt the flow of fluid, suitable for inconvenient downtime situation. Non-intrusive measurement is suitable for non-polluting measurement needs, such as ultrapure water in semiconductor processes, chemical liquids in PCB processes, and wastewater in water treatment, etc. High linearity provides consistent measurement accuracy under both low and high flow conditions.


ToF (Time of Flight) Ultrasonic Flow Meter Measurement Principle

Through the flow calculation formula: Flow = Pipe cross-sectional area × Flow velocity, in the case of known pipe cross-sectional area, FU-ES ultrasonic flowmeter built-in EchoSense technology, the use of time-of-flight (ToF) principle to calculate the time difference between the downstream flow and the counter-flow, so as to accurately calculate the flow rate.  As shown in the figure, the signal travels faster in the upstream direction (A to B) and slower in the downstream direction (B to A), and the time difference can be used to derive the flow rate.

Applicable to a wide range of fluids, pipe materials and pipe diameters

EchoSense ultrasonic flowmeter is suitable for a wide range of fluids, such as common water, oil, and even a variety of chemicals; a wide range of piping materials, such as stainless steel, PVC, and even PP, PVDF, etc.; the piping size from 1/2" to 3", the scope of application is extremely wide.


No more need to apply ultrasonic paste to save time and cost.

The EchoSense ultrasonic flowmeter is designed with an ultrasonic coupling spacer at the bottom of the flowmeter, replacing the traditional ultrasonic paste as the coupling medium, so that users no longer need to continuously replenish the ultrasonic paste, and do not need to keep it on hand. Under normal use, the ultrasonic coupling spacer will not need to be replaced for a long period of time, and this design will save cost and reduce manpower for users.
